Method 1

Method 2
Press the Windows key + Shift + S. By using this combination, the entire screen will dim and the mouse pointer will change to capture mode. You can drag the pointer to capture a portion of the screen. You can select a full screen, rectangular, window, or free-form snipping shape. The screenshot will be saved to the clipboard that you can use in other programs.
Method 3
Press the Windows key + PrtScn. This saves the entire screen as an image file in “Screenshots” folder under “Pictures”.
Method 4 – Screenshot Using Snipping Tool
Microsoft provides a more flexible inbuilt screenshot utility called Snipping Tool. You can use the Snipping Tool to take a screenshot and save it as an image.
How to use Snipping Tool
- Open the Snipping Tool from the Start menu.
- In the “Mode” drop-down, you can choose one of the snipping shapes you like – you can choose full screen, rectangular, window, or free-form shape.
- Click on New and use the mouse to create the screenshot. The captured screenshot will appear in the Snipping Tool.
- Using the Delay menu, you can specify how long to wait before taking the screenshot.
- Using drawing tools, you can annotate the screenshot.
- To save the screenshot to your computer, click “File” and then “Save As” (Ctrl + S).
- You can use the copy button in the Snipping Tool window to copy the image to your clipboard (Ctrl + C) as other capturing methods.
